Hello and Welcome!

In this little corner of the web we believe in Empowering, Engaging & Educating women who want to grow and learn. This community was founded out of frustration of not seeing mentorship and comradery for women both professionally and personally in our geographical area. So what's a girl to do when she cannot find that thing she's looking for? Create it!! And so She Speaks began.

While shattering glass ceilings can incredibly rewarding it can also be quite lonely. In our efforts to succeed we often end up alienating ourselves. It doesn't have to be that way! You can simultaneously chase dreams or crush goals AND cheer on or lend a helping hand to a sister on her journey. There is "enough" (insert whatever you are striving towards) for everyone and truthfully helping others will create such joy and fulfillment that you might just find yourself pushing past the limits you put on yourself! YES PLEASE!!

At first this was just a quarterly gathering that we had in our town. And truthfully we had a very small turnout, BUT, the excitement and support and ideas pushed creativity to the fore front and here we are.......just jumping in and figuring it out as we go!
